DVMLCOP — DV Music Language Composer Orchestra Pro is the most advanced orchestral edition of the DV Music Language composition system so far.
It combines the complete orchestral structure of DV Language Composer Orchestra with the professional workflow, touchscreen instruments, multichannel controls, audio effects, visual notation, and interactive three-dimensional environment developed for Composer Pro.
The progression is clear:
DV Language Composer introduced the central text-based musical composition system.
DV Language Composer Orchestra expanded that system into a multichannel orchestral environment.
DV Music Language Composer Pro developed a more advanced interface, touchscreen workflow, visual layers, and professional production controls.
DV Music Language Composer Orchestra Pro now brings these developments together in one complete orchestral composition environment—and expands the system further.
The result is not simply a larger collection of instruments. It is a unified browser-based environment for writing, hearing, arranging, visualizing, mixing, performing, saving, and exporting music.
A Complete Orchestra Inside the Composer
Composer Orchestra Pro provides an expanded virtual instrument library organized into orchestral sections.
The strings section includes violin, viola, cello, contrabass, string ensemble, and harp. String channels also support different articulations, including arco, pizzicato, and tremolo.
The woodwind section includes piccolo, flute, oboe, English horn, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, and contrabassoon.
A complete saxophone family is also available, including soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones.
The brass section includes trumpet, muted trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, and a combined brass-section voice.
Keyboards and voices include concert grand piano, electric piano, celesta, organ, and choir.
The tuned and orchestral percussion collection includes timpani, glockenspiel, vibraphone, marimba, xylophone, tubular bells, and a complete percussion or drum-kit channel.
The wider instrument library also includes acoustic guitar, clean and overdriven electric guitars, distortion guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, oud, and synthesizer voices.
Each part can be assigned its own instrument, register, stereo position, volume, sound controls, visual layer, and musical content.
Expanded Virtual Instrument and Audio System
The audio environment uses sampled virtual-instrument voices for its orchestral sounds, supported by optimized built-in fallback instruments.
If an external sample cannot be loaded, the composition can continue to operate instead of leaving the channel silent. This is especially important in a browser-based prototype, where different devices and network conditions may affect how quickly sound resources become available.
All active channels are combined into one synchronized master rendering. Compression and limiting help control the complete orchestral mix and reduce unwanted overload when many instruments play simultaneously.
Each channel also includes individual controls for:
Volume
Stereo positioning
Bass
Midrange
Treble
Delay
Reverb
Mute
Solo
This allows the composer to work with individual instruments, complete orchestral sections, or the entire ensemble.
Compose with DV Music Language Syntax
At the center of the application is the DV Music Language textual composition system.
Every channel contains its own DV text editor. Music can be entered using note names, scale degrees, or frequencies. The composer can choose left-to-right or right-to-left writing and can use a second independent line when separate right-hand and left-hand material is required.
The syntax supports:
Notes and rests
Chords
Western chord symbols
Fractions and durations
Triplets
Percussion instructions
Pedal and overlay commands
Continuous slides
Bends
Right-hand and left-hand parts
A chord does not always need to be constructed by manually writing every pitch with plus signs. Western chord names can also be used directly, making harmonic writing faster and more natural.
Slides and bends allow continuous gestures to be described inside the written composition. These functions are useful for strings, guitars, electronic instruments, experimental works, and sound design.
The purpose of the syntax is not to replace musical thought with programming. It gives a musical idea a precise written structure that can control sound, traditional notation, DV visual notation, and three-dimensional presentation together.
Orchestra Quick Setup
Composer Orchestra Pro can create complete instrumental sections without requiring every channel to be configured manually.
The Orchestra Quick Setup system includes:
A five-channel string section
An eight-channel woodwind section
A seven-channel brass section
A six-channel percussion section
A 28-channel full orchestra
Existing channels remain in the project when a new section is added. This allows different templates to be combined and expanded.
A composer can begin with strings, add woodwinds and brass, introduce a choir or electronic layer, and gradually develop the project into a complete hybrid orchestra.
Additional channels can be added whenever the arrangement requires them.
Touchscreen Instruments
Composer Orchestra Pro can also be played directly through its touchscreen instrument layer.
The available touch interfaces include:
Scrollable piano keyboard
Chord pads
Drum pads
Guitar
Ukulele
Violin
Oud
These instruments can be used to hear notes, experiment with musical ideas, and insert material into the active DV channel.
The instrument ranges can be scrolled instead of being restricted to a small decorative keyboard. A touch can be used only to hear a note or can be configured to place the note directly into the composition.
Chord-stack entry makes it possible to insert several pitches as one harmonic event rather than as a sequence of unrelated notes.
This connects performance and composition: play an idea, hear it through the selected instrument, add it to the editor, and then refine its musical syntax.
Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional Visual Music
One of the defining characteristics of DV Music Language is that music can be seen as well as heard.
Composer Orchestra Pro can generate visual layers for:
An individual instrument channel
The currently focused channel
The complete orchestral composition
The music can be presented in a two-dimensional visual score or inside an interactive Babylon.js three-dimensional environment.
The standard 3D performance camera presents the composition as a coordinated visual performance. Free 3D mode allows the user to explore the musical space through dragging, pinching, zooming, and mouse-wheel movement.
The visual layer is connected directly to the written composition. Pitch, duration, instrument, timing, position, and color contribute to the appearance of each musical event.
This is not simply a decorative animation placed over the music afterward. The visual environment grows from the same composition that produces the sound.
Looping and Detailed Channel Work
Looping can be applied to the complete project or controlled at the individual channel level.
This makes it possible to repeat one orchestral part while editing another, examine a rhythmic pattern, develop an ostinato, compare different harmonies, or refine the balance between sections.
Mute and solo controls allow the composer to isolate one instrument or hear a particular group inside the larger arrangement.
These tools support both detailed composition and broader orchestral experimentation.
Audio, MIDI, and Score Export
A composition can move beyond the browser environment through several export options.
Composer Orchestra Pro supports:

Project saving and loading
MIDI export includes instrument-aware General MIDI program changes so that the orchestral structure can be carried into another compatible music environment.
Mute and solo selections are respected during the mix and MIDI-export process. This allows the composer to export the complete orchestra, individual sections, or isolated parts.
The score export brings together three connected representations:
The original DV Music Language text
Full-color DV visual notation
Traditional staff notation
In the DV visual score, the graphical size of a musical event can reflect its duration, helping time become visible within the notation itself.
A Foundation for Future Orchestra Development
Composer Orchestra Pro is also a development environment for the future of the regular Composer Orchestra.
New instruments, orchestral features, visual systems, controls, and production functions can be developed and tested in the Pro edition. Features that prove useful and stable can later contribute to future updates of the regular Orchestra version.
This gives the two editions distinct purposes.
Composer Orchestra can remain a more accessible orchestral composition environment, while Composer Orchestra Pro serves as the advanced professional workspace and experimental foundation for the larger orchestral system.
Demo V1
The words Demo V1 are important.
This is a working early-stage prototype of a larger system. It demonstrates the principal architecture and creative direction, but it does not claim that every part of the platform has reached its final form.

DV Music Language Composer Orchestra Pro represents an important step toward one integrated environment in which a musical idea can be written as language, distributed across an orchestra, performed through touch, mixed as sound, visualized in color and space, and exported for continued use.
