The idea is to create an environment where musicians can open a song, solo composition, band arrangement or ensemble work and do much more than simply read its notation. They can read it, hear it, see it and play it. In some ways, the product can be compared with the idea behind software such as Guitar Pro: music becomes playable, navigable and useful for practice. But DV Music Language Player & Tutor would approach this through the DV Music Language system, combining textual musical information, time, sound, visualization and instrument-specific interaction.
