Life of MKR: A Long-Term Reality and Documentary Project About a Life in Development

A Long-Term Reality and Documentary Project About a Life in Development

By Ronen Kolton Yehuda (MKR: Messiah King RKY)

For approximately a decade, I have lived with a persistent sense that my life may be observed or documented extensively, at times almost continuously. I have written about this experience on my blogs and have sometimes described it through the idea of a personal “Truman Show.” I cannot independently establish that such hidden documentation actually exists, and I do not propose that a television production should treat it as an established fact.

It is, however, an important part of my life and one of the reasons I am proposing Life of MKR.

Rather than continuing with uncertainty about whether my life is being documented, I would like to explore the possibility of creating an actual long-term reality and documentary project in which the documentation is real, transparent and professionally organized. Cameras would be present because everyone involved knows they are present. There would be producers, contracts, privacy rules, consent procedures and a clear distinction between private life, archived material and material intended for publication.

In that sense, Life of MKR would transform an experience that has accompanied me for years into something concrete: a documented life whose production is known, voluntary and professionally managed.

The project would follow not one isolated subject, but the broader life I am attempting to build: my family and relationships, creative career, music, acting and production, writing and art, technological work, companies and entrepreneurship, spiritual ideas, international initiatives, education, homes, travel and the people who become part of that life.

It would be a documentary about development rather than a program built around a predetermined conclusion.

From the “Truman Show” Experience to a Real Documentary

The idea of extensive life documentation did not begin for me as a television proposal. It developed from my own experience.

For years I have had a strong sense that many aspects of my life may be seen, followed or recorded. This has affected the way I think about privacy, public life, media and my own biography, and I have addressed these questions in my writing.

A professional reality/documentary project could approach the subject in a much more practical way.

Instead of uncertainty, there could be known cameras and identifiable people responsible for them. Instead of wondering where recordings might exist, there could be a controlled archive. Instead of unknown rules, there could be agreements determining who may film, where filming may occur, what may be stored and what may eventually be released.

If the sense I have lived with does not correspond to actual hidden documentation, the project would still solve the practical question by creating the genuine documentation openly.

The concept therefore does not require anyone to accept my interpretation of the past. It begins with a fact about my biography: I have lived with this experience for many years, written about it publicly, and it has contributed directly to my interest in documenting my life professionally.

What Life of MKR Would Document

The project would not be limited to observing me in ordinary domestic life. There is already a substantial body of work, plans and ambitions that could provide its content.

My life includes creative work, technological experimentation, entrepreneurship, public and international initiatives, spiritual writing, architecture and family planning. Some projects already exist in demonstrable forms. Others are still proposals. Some will probably change substantially. Others may never be completed.

A serious documentary does not need to pretend otherwise.

The value of a long-term format would be precisely in following the difference between an idea and its eventual reality.

Creative Career: Music, Art, Acting and Production

A major part of the project would be the development of my creative career.

My work and ambitions extend across music, songwriting, writing, visual and conceptual art, acting, performance, television, production and the development of original characters, stories and creative worlds.

I do not see myself only as a performer entering projects created by other people. I am also interested in creating and developing productions myself. Over the years I have worked on many concepts that could potentially develop through dramatic production, television, digital media, games, music, live performance or new combinations of these forms.

The documentary would not need to choose today which particular production will become important. It could follow the career itself: writing and development, rehearsals, recordings, auditions, meetings, performances, collaborations, production work, negotiations and the practical effort required to move an idea toward a finished project.

Music would remain an important part of that activity. I write, compose and record original work, including experimental and demo material, and I would like to continue developing that work professionally and internationally.

Acting and production are equally important ambitions. The project could document the development of those areas without reducing them to one particular film or role.

DV Language, Innovation and Technology

Another major part of my work is DV Language and its expanding ecosystem.

The project began with music and has developed into applications involving composition, performance, theatre, dance, martial arts and visual representation. Its broader possibilities include education, artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction and new ways of representing time-based human action and creative information.

Life of MKR could follow the development of this work from prototypes and public demonstrations toward partnerships, research, commercial applications, licensing, education and possible company formation.

This is also an area where the documentary could show something that is rarely visible in finished publicity: the repeated testing, redesign, technical problems and gradual improvement involved in developing an original system.

Companies and an International Career

I intend to build companies around different areas of my work and to develop a career that operates internationally.

That process would naturally create documentary material: company formation, partners, financing, negotiations, product development, intellectual property, meetings, international presentations and decisions about where and how different projects should operate.

The project would not have to present every business idea as a success. Building serious ventures involves uncertainty, and that uncertainty is part of the story.

The New Prophecy and The Religion of God

The spiritual dimension of my life also belongs in the project.

My writing includes The New Prophecy and The Religion of God, which represent my own developing body of spiritual and philosophical thought concerning God, humanity, morality, peace, responsibility and the future.

These ideas are personally important to me and therefore cannot be removed from an honest documentary simply because they may be unusual or controversial.

At the same time, the project would not require other people to share my beliefs. They can be documented as my beliefs and writings and can become subjects of conversation with people who agree, disagree or approach religion and philosophy from completely different perspectives.

That distinction would allow the documentary to remain serious rather than becoming promotional religious programming.

Global International Union

My international initiatives include the proposed Global International Union, including two complementary concepts I have discussed: the Union for Democracies and the Universal Peace Union.

I have proposed these as possible frameworks for international cooperation and dialogue, with Jerusalem discussed as a potential central location.

They are proposals rather than established international organizations. A documentary could therefore follow the real process of attempting to develop them: outreach, correspondence, meetings, presentations, academic and diplomatic discussions, organizational work and the reactions of institutions and individuals in different countries.

Whether the ideas eventually grow substantially, change form or remain proposals would be determined by what actually happens.

Global Masters and Continued Education

Global Masters represents another part of the life I would like to build.

The concept is based on continuing to study throughout adulthood and learning directly from people with significant expertise in different fields. This could involve artists, musicians, scientists, academics, entrepreneurs, athletes, craftspeople, teachers and other specialists from around the world.

That learning could be documented not as a separate educational show but as part of my professional and personal development.

The Life Tower, Homes and Living Infrastructure

I have also developed ideas concerning the environments in which such a life and family could operate, including Villa Hadar HaCarmel, the Life Tower and other larger residential concepts.

These are relevant because my ambitions involve more than acquiring a conventional home. A very large family, creative production, education, companies, international guests and long-term work may eventually require a more complex living infrastructure.

If these projects advance, the documentary could follow planning, design, financing, architectural development, construction and eventually life inside them.

Relationships and a Very Large Family

One of my strongest personal ambitions is to create a very large family.

I am interested in the possibility of maintaining committed relationships with several women in parallel, provided that the structure is understood and freely chosen by every adult involved. My intention is not simply to have several romantic relationships but, if possible, to create a stable extended family with long-term life partners and many children.

This is one area where a reality/documentary production could be particularly useful, because a serious production could provide organization, visibility and infrastructure around an unusual family model.

It could also make the idea visible to women who might genuinely find such a life interesting.

However, television cannot substitute for consent or real relationships.

A woman becoming my partner would not automatically become a television participant. The personal relationship and participation in Life of MKR would require separate decisions.

If future partners choose to participate, I would prefer them to become substantial participants in the project, with their own careers, ideas, ambitions and perspectives represented rather than simply appearing as supporting figures in my story.

As the family develops, the documentary could gradually become the story of several people rather than only one.

Parenthood, Assisted Reproduction and Surrogacy

The creation of a very large family may also involve different forms of parenthood.

Depending on future relationships and circumstances, that could include natural conception, fertility treatment, assisted reproduction or lawful surrogacy.

These possibilities involve complex medical, financial and legal responsibilities and should be handled professionally. The laws concerning surrogacy, parentage, residence and citizenship vary considerably between jurisdictions, so every real decision would require advice appropriate to the country involved.

The production could document that process in a factual way: not simply pregnancies and births, but the planning, legal work, medical decisions, costs, parenting responsibilities and long-term organization required to create a large family responsibly.

Children and the Limits of Reality Television

If children become part of the project, their interests must come before the needs of the production.

They should have substantial areas of life that remain private. Producers and parents would need to decide carefully what is appropriate to record and what is appropriate to publish.

As children become older, their own views about appearing publicly should carry increasing weight.

A project that might continue for decades creates responsibilities that a short television production does not. Material recorded during childhood may remain available long after a child becomes an adult.

That must be considered from the beginning.

Privacy, Consent and Legal Structure

The project would require a substantial legal and ethical framework.

This would include agreements covering filming, privacy, appearance rights, compensation where appropriate, ownership and licensing of material, confidential information, data protection, intellectual property, businesses, insurance, locations and the storage of what could eventually become an enormous archive.

Family and relationship matters would remain legally separate from production agreements.

Questions involving parenthood, co-parenting, assisted reproduction, surrogacy, inheritance, property, residence and citizenship would require their own legal arrangements.

Partners and other important participants should also be able to receive independent professional advice where their interests differ from mine or from those of the production company.

Consent should be continuing rather than assumed forever because somebody signed an agreement years earlier.

Extensive Documentation Without Eliminating Private Life

The project could experiment with unusually extensive documentation.

That might combine professional crews, fixed cameras in agreed locations, personal recordings, phones, interviews, diaries and other archive material.

But 24/7 documentation should not automatically mean 24/7 broadcasting.

There may be private rooms where filming does not occur. There may be intimate or medical moments that remain entirely private. There may also be recordings retained for archival purposes that are never released publicly.

The aim would be to produce a deep record of a life without making privacy impossible.

Production as Infrastructure

A serious production could also become part of the practical infrastructure supporting this life.

It could provide professional filming and editing, archival management, travel coordination, production staff, communication, research and access to broadcasters or streaming audiences.

If commercially successful, it could generate revenue and opportunities connected with the broader projects being documented.

That could help make travel, production, homes and other ambitious activities more financially possible.

The important principle would be that the production supports real life rather than creating artificial life solely for content.

Relationships should not exist because producers require a storyline. Children should not be conceived because a season needs an event. Business decisions should not be made simply for drama.

The production should document and assist what the people involved genuinely want to build.

Why the Project Could Continue for Many Years

The main advantage of Life of MKR is that it does not require a predetermined ending.

The project could begin with my present life, work and ambitions and continue as circumstances change.

One period may focus primarily on technology and companies. Another on music or acting. Another on international activity. Another on a new home. Another on a developing relationship, a pregnancy, children or the practical organization of a larger family.

People may enter and leave the story. Projects may succeed, fail or change. Different countries may become important at different stages.

Over enough time, the result could become more than a reality program. It could become an extensive documentary archive of one life and of the people and projects connected with it.

Invitation

I am publishing this proposal because the next stage would require professional collaborators.

I would be interested in discussions with producers, documentary filmmakers, production companies, broadcasters, streaming platforms and media professionals who may see potential in developing Life of MKR as a serious long-term project.

It may also be relevant to business partners, artists, musicians, technologists, educators, international collaborators and others whose work could intersect with the life and projects being documented.

And because family and relationships are central to the future I hope to build, making the concept public may also allow women who genuinely understand and are interested in such a family structure to know that the possibility exists.

Those relationships, however, would remain personal relationships first. Participation in television would always be a separate decision.

Life of MKR is therefore a proposal to turn a long-standing relationship with the idea of continuous documentation into a real, transparent and professionally managed documentary project, while following the development of my family, career, creative work, technologies, companies, spiritual ideas, international initiatives, education, homes and personal life over time.

The future is not already written, and the production should not pretend that it is.

Its subject would be what actually happens.
